The storage of heat and energy is an area of much research and there is now available a new generation of very efficient heaters which not only consume relatively little power but deliver heat with considerable more efficiency than in the past. Using the thermodynamic principle these use electric power. As with energy efficient lighting D & H can advise on the installation costs, using heaters such as those made by Rointe, and the long term savings involved.
